our story
Tim Kennedy opened the Christian Workshop in old downtown Melbourne in 1971 with a backpack of leather tools and forty dollars, and slept in the back room. Self taught — from books, from the work, and from other craftsmen. The shop is still family run and still sewing.

What's your minimum order quantity?
We run low MOQs, including prototypes and one-offs, and we can handle large projects in single or multiple releases.
Are you ITAR registered?
Yes. ITAR and SAM registered, CAGE 0FDR6, and we use Berry-compliant and Mil-Spec materials as required.
Can you work from our drawings, or do you need a sample?
Either. We work from prints, CAD, physical samples, or a rough concept we develop into a prototype with you.
Do you design and prototype, or just manufacture?
Both. Design, prototyping, manufacturing, and distribution under one roof.
What materials do you work with?
Ballistic nylon, Cordura, canvas duck, vinyl, foam (PU, PE, XLPE), ABS and Kydex backing, and leather from garment weight to saddle weight.
Where is the work done?
All production is done in our 6,000 sq ft shop in Melbourne, Florida. Made in the USA.
