CAPABILITIES

CONTRACT SEWING AND FABRICATION

Design, patterning, cutting, sewing, and finishing run out of one 6,000 square foot shop in Melbourne, Florida. Twenty plus industrial machines, a commercial laser cutter, and a clicker press handle nylon, canvas, vinyl, foam, and leather, Berry compliant and Mil-Spec where the contract requires it. ITAR and SAM registered, CAGE 0FDR6. We quote a single prototype the same way we quote a year of scheduled releases.

Designing & Prototyping

Most jobs start as a sketch, a sample, or a piece of equipment that needs something built around it. We pattern from whatever you have and put a physical sample in your hands before anything goes to production.

Yes. Send photos, a rough sketch, or ship us the equipment itself. Patterning is our job, not yours. What we need from you is the size of the thing being protected, how it gets carried or mounted, and where it has to survive.

Yes. Send the package with your revision level and we build to it. If something on the print will sew poorly or add cost without adding performance, we tell you before we cut and you decide whether to change it.

We pattern, cut, and sew one unit, then send it to you to load, carry, and abuse. Most first samples come back with changes. We revise the pattern and send another. Once you approve a sample, that unit is the production standard.

Your patterns stay on file here. Send the new dimensions or the new unit and we adjust the existing pattern. A next-generation case is usually a pattern revision on our end, not a fresh development project.

contract manufacturing

Twenty plus industrial sewing machines and operators who average sixteen years on this floor. We sew everything from lightweight parachute cloth to heavyweight nylon cargo webbing, and stitch leather from kid skin to saddle weight.

Lower than most sewing houses. We build single units and we build long production runs, and neither one is treated as a favor. Tell us the quantity you actually need and we quote that quantity.

Yes. A large order can ship in one release or in scheduled releases spread across the year. Give us the annual quantity and the delivery schedule you want and we quote against both.

Our operators, in our Melbourne shop. Nothing goes offshore and nothing gets brokered out. With tenure running past sixteen years, the person sewing your tenth release is usually the person who sewed your first.

Send us forecast numbers as early as you have them. The machines and the floor space are here. Hiring and material lead time are the two things nobody can compress on short notice, so early warning is what protects your schedule.

cutting & fabrication

Cut quality decides how the finished piece fits and how it looks. We run commercial laser cutting, a clicker press for die cutting, fabric cutting machines, and strap makers for webbing work.

Fabric, foam, composite and laminated material, plastic backing such as ABS, HDPE, and Kydex, and leather from garment weight up to heavy tooling.

It depends on the material and the quantity. Laser cutting seals synthetic edges and needs no tooling, which makes it right for prototypes and for patterns still in flux. A steel die in the clicker press is faster per part on repeat runs and is the better call for leather, foam, and higher volume. We pick based on your numbers and tell you which one you are getting.

Yes. Polyurethane, polyethylene, and XLPE, cut to hold your equipment. Send the equipment itself or a dimensioned drawing and we cut to it.

Yes. We produce sewn components that drop into hard cases and other assemblies, and we cut parts for customers who assemble in house.

materials & compliance

Our supplier network took fifty years to build. Domestic, Berry compliant, and Mil-Spec material when your contract calls for it, and international sourcing when it does not.

Nylon in ballistic, Cordura, packcloth, ripstop, and webbing. Cotton duck canvas from 10 oz through #4. Clear vinyl and Naugahyde. Polyurethane, polyethylene, and XLPE foam. ABS, HDPE, and Kydex backing. Leather in heavy tooling, lightweight, garment grade, and exotics. Hardware includes rivets, grommets, buckles, snaps, zippers, dees, Velcro, bungee, and parachute cord.

Yes. ITAR registered and SAM registered. CAGE 0FDR6, DUNS 040211344, NAICS 314910 and 316990. We are also D&B registered, an ATA member, and Made in the USA.

Yes. Flag it on the RFQ and we source domestic Berry compliant material. Berry material costs more and carries longer lead times than commercial equivalents, so tell us at quote stage rather than after award.

Often, if your specification allows it. If you are locked to a Mil-Spec callout, we buy the callout. If the spec is open, we will put alternatives in front of you with the tradeoffs in performance and cost spelled out.

branding & finishing

The last operations are the ones your customer sees. Embroidery, heat transfer, vinyl cutting, and embossing all happen here, and we make our own leather labels in house.

Yes. Embroidery, heat transfer vinyl, and embossing on leather, plus leather labels we produce ourselves. Send vector artwork and note any exact color requirements.

Embroidery survives the most abuse on fabric, but thread has a limit on fine detail and small text. Heat transfer holds detail and multiple colors and works best on flat panels. Embossing is for leather. Send the art and the material and we will tell you which one holds up.

Usually. Send a sample of the current product or the color standard you are matching. Fabric colorways and hardware finishes vary by supplier, so we confirm against a physical sample before a production run rather than against a screen.

Yes. Leather labels are made in the shop. We have been tooling leather since 1971, which is where this company started.

distribution support

Design, prototyping, and manufacturing are only useful if the product lands where it needs to be. We handle distribution as part of the job, in one shipment or in releases over time.

Yes. Finished goods can go to your dock, to your customer, or to multiple destinations off one order. Give us the ship-to list with the order.

Yes. Large runs can be produced once and released across the year on the schedule you set. That keeps your receiving and storage load down without breaking production into inefficient short runs.

Tell us your packaging and marking requirements at quote stage. If you have a receiving standard, carton count, or labeling format you need followed, we build it into the job rather than working around it later.

We are ITAR registered and work within export requirements. Controlled items require the proper authorization in place before anything leaves the shop, so raise international destinations early in the quote.
